I don't have to give my presentation till 6 in the evening, so that isn't a problem. It's just getting up knowing that I am yet again one day closer to the finals I so dearly despise.

We have a saying in my family: If you want to stand in the shortest line in the world, stand in the line of people who think it's fair.

I'm not complaining that life isn't fair. I'm just remarking on how I loathe knowing I get only one test to determine if I pass a class.

ahhh, bad attitude, think of it as one day closer to the day after exams, or even better, the one day closer to the minute after exams! party night!

why is the job ending, or the posting crashing?

and people, that's 10000 posts .... Ceres was right, dammit :D

I thought I should do something, you know, cool, to commemorate such a milestone, but could think of nothing really, so thought I'd just jot down some thoughts about CH and the Round Table in particular

I'm a relative newcomer to these forums, I was a guest lurker prior to the current incarnation, and became a member 06 Jan 2006, made my first post around the start of May 2006, being very eager for HV .... got the collectors edition on the 17th May I think (mighta been the 18th) and got a few posts in over the next few days, explaining things and asking things, really, truly beginning my joining of the community here ....

so I guess lemme just say that I think this is THE best forum on the internet, and I have been a part of a few, never have I found a place so free from trolling, flaming and nastiness, it's a pleasure to be a member, and I heartily thank AS and the crew for creating and maintaining the whole site, and the mods for doing a great job of keeping things civil, you all deserve a big pat on the back

lastly and most importantly, to the community itself, you guys are the best, a better bunch of forum members are not to be found, considering the range of cultures and backgrounds from which we all come, our religious beliefs, and scientific ;) we manage to get along with very few feathers being ruffled, and even when they are, things don't get out of hand. I've only ever known of two people to get permanently banned, one for being a tool, and DL, well for being DL .... that's a pretty big rap for the forums in itself

some personal mentions, god forgive if I forget anyone .... there's only 12150 odd members

Mytical - you're a superb addition to the forum, the RPG was and is an awesome challenge and you created and maintained it for a long time, big kudos for that, and for the other things you've done around the place, the ideas, stories and the alt rpg being another that doesn't get recognised (for obvious reasons) especially since you ran at least two of those that I'm aware of .... you're great

OD - for continuing the RPG and doing a great job, and for being well hung ;)

winter - you've added a lot with your contributions, the stories and ideas and the general posting, it's pretty good stuff and you add a lot, the photo album and birthday lists are cool too and shows you're willing to make an effort to add to the community - well done

Milla - I know you're not around much, but when you are you certainly stimulate the place .... maybe too much, even the mods are drawn in then, and the barking starts - especially after that world famous picture of the day! Would be lovely to see more of you .... and also have you post more often ;) , still planning on holidaying? :)

TT - well, what's to be said about someone with more posts than me? almost 4000 of them .... you're a sarcastic one, but then that's a compliment to you, and you do keep the place interesting (sometimes), so I guess some thanks are in order ;)

Panda and Letty - for the humour, and the pictures, and the jokes (this one's for Letty only though Panda ;) ) thanks ;)

Vel - for the cutting remarks and laughs, and for being a like mind in trying to educate and help winter out in his "love" life ;)

Ceres - you haven't been here long, but you've been a great member for all that, and a great addition to the rpg

Elvin - for keeping the posting rate going - makes my task easier :)

Corribus - you're scientific machine, and since you seem to run along similar lines to me (or me to you? :) ) you're great ;)

Gravyluvr - not so active anymore - must be the gf :disagree: , the auction was ace, and I'll still keep pushing for you to run another! and I cannot let a mention of you go past without mention that your satire, very witty has been missed - you are a cunning linguist :)

HP and Vulnevia - just cause it's a cool thing to me that you're gamer chicks :D and cheeky to boot :)

and to Jolly Joker - I have to mention you, cause well, we disagree so damn much, and have had for at least a year, and then you go and change all my impressions of you! and now I agree with you (a little ;) ), for being a somewhat sane voice in arguments - cheers :)

tMD - you get a mention, because you're here one fortnight, then gone for 6 months, but in those 2 weeks you generally avg 9 million posts a day, and it does keep the vibe of the place going :)

Kalah, Vlad, GC and Ethric (for days past) - as the most prominent of the mods - I guess I should mention you guys as well, since you've been kind enough to only delete 10 of my posts (as opposed to about 10000 of TT's :) ), that's not a bad hit rate I guess, thanks for the tolerance, I know it's not always on topic, or not perhaps always worthy of a post, but then it is the campfire :)

and that, dear friends, is probably the longest post I've ever made on these forums :D

No you haven't... :devious:

Did i ever mention that i find it harder to take praise then anything else? (well maybe correct criticism, i can't tell, never really happened  ) 10x or something.

Oh, and it's 3845 more posts.

You also know someone, who has been banned 4 times, but who's STILL HERE!!!
Veldryn 15:15 And Vel found a dirty old jawbone of a walrus and put forth his hand, and took it, and in his unholy rage, he slew thirty four thousand men and children therewith.

Ah, it makes us all proud knowing that it's important for you, as it is for me as well.

I know, I know. I lack of jokes sometimes, but I try finding some nice, of course. I just don't post some because they are so culture-related that it wouldn't be fun for you guys to read it. :)

Copy and paste the same paragraph until it gets really big, so you'll have a big post.
