A Different H-IV Vista Question

It is commonly known the Heroes IV will not run under Vista at present. What I would like to know is does the H-IV editor run under Vista? It runs separately from the game, and the game need not be installed on the computer with the editor. I would appreciate it if someone with a Vista computer would try it and let me know, also if you could try the equilbrius editor as well that would be great. Remember I already know the game won’t run this is a request for the editor only. Thanks in advance.

I am presently running heroes 3,4,&5 with Vista. I was running the heros games with XP and they worked fine. And they all work fine with Vista. I did't do anything special

Interesting people have said 3 & 5 ran under Vista, you're the first that has said they have H-IV running under Vista.

What about Heroes II? Does anyone know if that will run under Vista?

I'm sorry but I don't Heroes 1 & 2. I only started playing HoMM a couple of years before 3DO went bankrupt. But as far as 3,4 & 5, they all work fine with Vista.

It is possible the drivers for Vista are finally catching up; has anyone else managed to get H-IV to run under Vista.
