now as for absences, Mel is heading to Mlebourne for two nights, with Seth, so I have the other two to look after from tomorrow, so I will be off work from tomorrow, and won't be back til Wednesay next week .... I should be able to drop in on occasion, but probably won't be going nutso for the next few days

Well stefan I'd say your #1 poster rank will be in danger but you'd have to be gone a little longer than that. say... 5 years?

maybe not quite that long .... but I reckon that OD is the front runner for my title .... GC and K just aren't posting as much, even though he's a 1000 or so from #2 .... but it would take a little time to make up the 5k or so posts needed

Mid August. Probably not fishing but swimming and hiking are definetely on the list.

One more term of Aviation Law, Education Law, and Pretrial skills. I will also have to set up an externship with a state or federal agency, take the MPRE (an ethics test... for some reason they think lawyers are unethical...), and cram for the Bar exam.

so does that mean you'll be done by the end of the year? or that the studies will be done by the end of the year and you still have to do the externship, sit the bar exam and the ethics test

I will be done with school, God willing, by next May. I'm going to take the ethics test this November and do my externship in January. Then if all goes well, I am going to be taking the bar exam sometime in the fall.

Sorry that I haven't been 'around' much. Actually, I drop in and read but don't always post. My 'other forum' has been eating up a lot of my time this week.

We're leaving right after work today for a little family get away. I had promiced my son that if Wierd Al ever did a concert within driving distance, we would go. So - I'm kind of stuck taking him to the show. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive (allegidly - that doesn't count for the horrid traffic that I'm expecting.) $25 a ticket for bad seats in an OPEN AIR theater in the sweltering heat. I'm just thrilled. We're getting ripped off for the price of the hotel and then going to a theme park on Saturday. All the 'Discount' coupons for said park ran out last weekend. My life is such a joy.

Oh well. At least we're getting out of town, even if it's costing me an arm and a leg.

As some of you may already know, my classes start again this coming Thursday.

In other words, I won't be able to log in as much. Combine that with the fact my dad switched shifts (so he'll be home during the day, goes to work at night) and you may not see a lot of me. But, rest assured, I'll come by every chance I get.

Who knows? Maybe I'll sneak in during the nights when my dad's at work...

We'll see.
