Just remove the files you put in the music and maps folder.
Just reached the third mission, let's see :)
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

To Daystar:

I would understand if this was a 10-page forum, but you really could read first three comments y'know.
I am back and ready to... ready to... post things.

This campaign is absolutely brilliant! I've only played the first two scenarios and I'm in love with it already. It has a far better storyline than the standard Heroes V with all of that Isabel rubbish, and great gameplay. All praise to Marzhin for keeping Axeoth's legacy alive!

Thank you for Keeping the Spirit of Excellent User Mods Alive!

I am extremely impressed with this first set! It is far better than the Commercial Campaign,,,I particularly enjoy the terrain as laid out..

I never post but this effort was worth it!!!!

I'd suggest that you posted a bit, after all you probably know a few things by lurking :) Anyway that should make Merzhin proud :-D

I am truly enjoying the Legends of the Ancients campaigns. I like the intermingling of the themes from H4 &H3

Yes, that truly was a stroke of genius. There's even quite a few nods of the head to Might and Magic, i.e. the mention of the Ancients' battlecruisers. If sequels are not made to this campaign, I will descend into madness.

I just finished the first map. It was excellent. I am rushing on to the second, as soon as I can.

@saugeen: Well said.

Just thought I'd throw this little anomaly in... When you unzip the (english) archieve the files with .ogg extensions are NOT in their own folder.. So it may be advised that the readme file be changed so that the user creates a toga directory wilthin the music one... Hope this helps new comers...

In english version some of the heroes' and towns' bios are in french... Is there a chance of getting proper ones (english)?

I am loving this campaign but is there any place to go for being stuck? I can't get a toehold in part 3

First of all, thanks for all your comments :) Now some answers :

@ Wurtzel : strange because I just tried to unzip it and I clearly have my .ogg files in a Lota subdirectory.

@ Kobiasz : Do you remember which ones ?

@ cher : Map 3 is a bit special as you must hold your ground during two months. As long as the two months haven't passed, the map does not end. Anybody else have troubles completing this mission ?

@ Wraith : Did reinstalling do the trick ? Don't forget you need to play it under HoF.

@ Daystar : it was also explained in the readme :P

I've also had a spot of bother with map 3. In the second week, as I'm running around still flagging mines and dwellings, Lysander shows up from the east and pummels either Solmyr or Emilia into defeat with an army of 40+ griffins and numerous angels. However, my real difficulty with the map is integrated with my computer's performance - it runs the first two maps fine, but lags dramatically during the third.

Still, it's a great map. But why is the king of Palaedra personally commanding a border war? Shouldn't he be looking for his siblings or something? ;)

@Marzhin

First of all I should add, that I didn’t see them during the game. I just found them in Your add-on files. Maybe I’m just oversensitive, but asking don’t hurt;)

@ Kobiasz : ah OK, I understand better now :) Actually the still-in-french bios are because those characters may show up in future Books and their bios have yet to be written :) (That's why I took the liberty of editing your post to remove spoiler)

The town bios are another problem. Actually when you create a map the editor automatically generates txt files with the town bios... And as my Heroes 5 is the french version of the game, the generated files are in french. Fortunately those files are not actually used ingame.

I had the same thing happen to me in the third map. Kysander himself? 8|
I kinda expected him to appear in a later campaign and I was scouting towards the east with Solmyr that couldn't do much with his chain lightning.
Then again that was my first try, I didn't expect him to pop up! I'll continue soon, it's getting interesting.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.
