Pfft, let the man smoke. As long as he doesn't blow smoke in your face, what's it to you? ;)

Such intolerance cannot tolerated. You should be ashamed of yourself panda!

It's me who should be ashamed? I say that because it's bad for his health only, not concerning that I don't want him doing that - he's free to do that if he wants.

But Ethric is right - it really pisses me off when someone buffs that smoke on my face as if I should share the same doom they have chosen for themselves. I usually struggle with myself to refrain my hand to put that cigarette in the eye of the person.

But then, I remember: Just don't breath. :disagree: But I cannot help the stinky smell that lingers.

Well he can't blow the smoke at you from the picture, so if I'm right you have to happily accept his right to smoke without complaining

I can imagine the smoke coming out of the screen....and my mind will make it real and feel like it's real. :devious:

Nah. But if I was him, I'd drop it. :-D As I'm not, I don't smoke.

Yeah you big meanies, panda is only looking after his fellow man, and yo'all are getting in his face for it. Disgraceful. :disagree:

I stare enough at the screen as is. I took the pic while listening to the professor. I should at least present the illusion that I pay attention 100% of the time.... well... at least half the time.

I found the best way not to get in trouble be not paying attn, or falling asleep was by being at the pub, playing pool, drinking cold beer and eating kebabs .... and somehow I still graduated

Doesn't work that well here. If we miss more than two classes, we can be kicked out of the class.

Ah as a student at University of California, Santa Cruz it was pass/no record. :hoo: So you could not fail or even have a record of failure. The worst thing that could happen was to just barely pass, because the professor wrote a paragraph on your performance which could be more devastating than any grade. 8|

it's basically pass/fail over here, though there are some ranks for higher achievers, not sure anyone really cares about those once you've graduated though
