The calls you did before didn't require you attention then? The Mad Dragon wrote:I am busy at work. With where I sit now, I can't come on the site, plus the calls that I do now actually require my attention, hence the sudden postage shortage.

Home sweet home! I was away for the day to go to a wedding. We left early for a little sightseeing and were lucky enough to find a hotel in the vicinity
After the wedding we were taken to a classy club restaurant with a pool, these guys spared no expenses!
Thankfully I was asleep for the better part of the journey, it kinda feels as if I awoke home today![smile :)](/forums/images/smilies/smile9.gif)

I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Yeap you got that part well. But while my sis is fun to have around I'd have hoped my friend would be there as that's where she normally lives. And apart from her I didn't know anyone else. There were some boring moments to be sure ![smile :)](/forums/images/smilies/smile9.gif)

Human madness is the howl of a child with a shattered heart.
Boo!
Yes, for those of you who care - I AM still alive. Life just got in the way. Some good things, some bad, all needing a great deal of my attention and cutting into my computer time.
The good news is that I've finally gotten off my old fat butt and joined a gym. I now spend about an hour a day working out, 5-6 days a week. I've got a 'net friend' who used to be a personal trainer and he's helping me. So far, I haven't actually lost much weight, but have lost a couple of inches off my waist and have put on muscles in places that I didn't know I had.
The bad news is WHY I finally got around to doing it. See, both my mom and dad were both diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Many of my friends also have it and I'm fat around the middle, and NOW have a family history of it. All indicators are that I would be Next in line for pricking my fingers if I didn't do something about my lifestyle. So I joined up and have been very faithful about going for the last 3 months.
The other bad news is that my father has also come down with cancer. It's blood born, but not Lucemia. It's also in his lungs and bladder. They gave him a couple rounds of chemo and then decided that it really wasn't doing him much good. They sent him 'home' to Hospice care. (For those of you out of the country, that means that you're dieing... but the Government helps to pay for in home nursing care, hospital beds, breathing equipment, etc.) Then the tumors in his bladder caused the doctors to put him on a 24/7 'flush' drip that keeps a constant stream of salt water going directly into his bladder (via tubes inserted in the stomach) and then back out again. This requires full time nursing assistance so he had to be put into a nursing home. To make matters worse, there were spaces available on our side of town, so we have to drive 1/2 hour each way, to go visit him.
So yeah - I've been a little busy lately. I'll try to drop in more often so I can try to 'catch up' on what's going on around the world with all my friends. Love ya! Mean it!
