Wow, I like what I see. They seem to pay a lot of attention to details and consistency. I really like the fact that multiple games of different genres will share the same universe and background story.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

TYhinking of a prequel? IN the last 3 years there's been prequels to a lot of games and movies... must be the trends.

I get more excited about this game every day! I am really hoping it is not another H4 flop (many H2 and H3 players felt that way, i am one of them).

Looks very very good so far.... keep it up!

To expand on Angelspit's comment, I am also impressed with the amount of resources being used to create a background for this gaming world. It seems to me that Ubi believes that M&M can possibly serve as a platform similar to the world of Warcraft and spawn several multi-genre games. Anyway, it will be interesting to see if they are successful.

I believe that it could spawn many other games also. As a matter of fact, I was just thinking EXACTLY what you said concerning World of Warcraft, and how cool it would be if we had a "World" of Might and Magic!

"and then Axeoth with Enroth, Erathia, Jadame, Cheh'dian etc."

How long have they been playing the first four Heroes games, I wonder? It almost looks like they think all those continents are in Axeoth. And throughout the article, they use "Axeoth" to refer to the old Heroes universe in general.

Nevertheless, looks promising.

Exactly. It seems as if the only original M&M game the Nival people have ever played is Heroes 3. Pretty pathetic for a developer that claims to give "rebirth" to a series.

It seams they never played the Might and Magic Series, nor did they play the earlier versions of the game until AFTER they played HOMM3. I am really hoping this is not another H3 Clone (many H2 and H4 players felt that way, I am one of them).
