Yeah, but they normally earn it then spend it, these two prevent themselves from earning it.

It's unimagineable that Pacman can get arrested or questioned by the police 10+ times since he's been drafted which was only 3 years ago, I think. Personally, I only had to have one encounter with the law to get my act straight when i was younger.

But I guess if you're making millions a year, you really don't care too much anymore.

Well the closed down NFL Europe, which was not that surprising as it was losing $32million dollars US/year. I used to watch some of the games when I was stationed in Europe, but never bothered once I came back to the states.

I used to catch some of the NFL Europe games myself. I miss football during the off-season...

So the news cam out today that Tank Johnson's Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was actually below the legal limit. So do we think that the bears look bad now for cutting him on that incident?

No, he was on a short leash, and he knew it. Though legally he was below the limit, his blood alcohol showed he was still out late drinking, which though legal violated that agreement with Chicago, and he was impaired enough to get stopped. Even Tank isn't protesting his release. Now what will be interesting is if Goodell counts this against an early reinstatement. I think most people feel Tank has made too many mistakes in Chicage, and maybe a clean start in another city will be good for everyone.

He's still good enough for someone to take a chance on him.

No doubt, I'm sure that if either the Redskins or Cowboys are in the playoff hunt after the 8-game suspension around November or so, they'd be the first ones in line. Not the best DL depth for either team, and both owners aren't scared about taking a risk.

A big defensive tackle with the skill to rush the pass and stop the run. He's big enough to protect the linebackers from the offensive lineman. There will be several teams interested, particularly when the injuries start to add up.

He could try completely destroying what's left of his career by going to the Lions.

Or he could go to Cincinnati, and just be a average guy.. He'd fit right in with that team.

Woot! The first preseason game is a week from Sunday!! :oex:

I was thinking, is there any interest here in an NFL pickem pool? I will organize if so. I'd say to make it in any way interesting, we need at least 5-6 people. Give an "I'm in" if so.

A RT fantasy league would be great, too. But we'd need about 8 people for that.

Go skins.
