Elwin and Shaera → True Love
There are some _very_ nice artifacts on this map for the hero (less so for troops), including armor that grants the hero regeneration.
If you start out fast and make only very minor stops (e.g., to liberate mines), you can take all the enemy towns with minimal resistance, using only your hero. Then, if you like (as I did), quickly complete the quests to open the second border guard and take the final castle alone. I had strong (level 3 spells) Life Magic, none of the really nice magic items, and it was pretty touch-and-go at the start until I could get my defenses up (Nature Ward first!)
By now you probably have auto-summons filling your party every day. Discard everything except Unicorns, Griffons and Storm Elementals. With Griffons and Storm Elementals, plus the movement artifacts, you can dash around at about 64 tiles per day! Absolutely great for catching the enemy unawares.
The other troops can either be sent to garrison a town or spread out to collect loose resources (remember that they cannot flag anything, so hire a hero or two along the way).

This whole campaign is broken. If Elwin is well built he never needs an army. I just finished this scenario on Champion in M2W3 With his largest army 3 sprites and 2 Air Elementals, and I cleared the whole map to get to Level 26.

I loved this map on my first playthrough, but on subsequent playthroughs, I hated it. It's too easy. If you struggled through the first two maps on Champion, this map will be a cakewalk. It's just mechanically walking from place to place with no challenge.
