Good for him if so. Maybe he will find himself somebody special. *sighs* where is a gal supposed to meet a nice gal at? *grins*

I guess that's also true for me.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Sometimes I wonder if I am too much of a pacifist. I edit posts often that show my real passion on some subjects, not because I care what others think, but just because I don't want to get into a flame war or fight. I have very strong opinons, for instance, about the current topic of criminals and punishments. Mainly because I have been a victim, and sometimes I think those who have never had to go through something like that go too easy on criminals. Not because they are not smart, but because they don't truely understand. To not cause waves, I water down my posts (even though they often get lost anyhow lol). So..is there such thing as been too much of a pacifist or too nice?

You have to pick your battles. If it's something you truly feel passionate about, don't hold back; give them everything you've got.

But if it's something you are merely commenting on, discretion is advised.

I have been following this rule as well. If I am to express my opinion on a subject I will but on commenting about something that I find either silly or stupid doesn't get you anywhere. People may consider you a jerk that likes to hurt others or that you have a complex.
If I do I'll try to be as civil as possible.

In Mytical's case I'd rather speak my mind.

There are only a few topics I am passionate about. One is my belief that everybody should be able to believe what they want, as long as it harm no other. Another is that we should put aside our differences and work together for a better tommorrow.

However, those pale in compairason to my passion about our so called justice system. But I will leave that for that thread. Some of you know why I am so passionate about it. I am trying to behave tho. My pacifist nature hates making trouble..even if I am evil incarnate (better behind the scene then in front *grins*) or maybe at least mischevious incarnate...

I am just hoping that my passion does not get the thread closed. It is a very good thread :(

It's no biggy. I'm more focused on graduating than finding a woman. If I wantsomething, I know where to go. One of my old college friends made that quite clear the other night.

From my experiences, nothing is free. There are always strings somewhere.

Hmm... that sounds really bad giving the context of what we are talking about.

sure .... but if she's dropped a hint (or been obvious) then by not taking it up are you not creating an issue that way? or is she cool with that .... the old: only one thing annoys a woman more than a guy she doesn't want paying attn to her, is the guy she does want not paying attn to her

I guess a subtle explanation isn't good enough. I'm not at all physically attracted to her. That's why.
