That's the kind of animal that bites you if you let it to. :D

And not being comfortable by that is normal. It's like you're going on a street, then an elephant comes out from a huge machine you didn't know was there, grabs you and goes for a walk, carrying you randomly to whatever destiny - you know neither if he is bad nor good. :)

Funny you saying that the animal's heart was beating fast. So, it was about to have a heart attack. :D
A sloth with a fast heart beat? What was it? About 10 a minute? ;)

Vel, make you you suck out the marrow because that's the tastiest part.

Wolfsburg wrote:But it is still funny seeing a tree hugger leaving his car on the sideway just to run desperate to save the poor animal from beeing splatted on the asfalt.

I did it already, almost got caught by a truck though (the driver was not very happy about it, I must say). Although it was not a turtle but a cute sloth (bicho-preguiça). I had it in my hands and felt his rapid heartbeats. He was quite happy in the end to be back on its tree (on the other side f the road)

Ill try to post a picture of it on the image gallery... later
Well, from one 'tree-hugger' to another, thanks for saving an innocent life.

You're assuming it's innocent. Maybe it's some drug-dealing sloth who sells to teen sloths outside of the highschool. Real innocent. ;)

But my favorite animals are actually otters, and those I have unfortunately never seen in the wild. :(

Even though I consider my temper quite stable and reasonable I must confess I have a big weak spot.

Wild life extermination brings the beast out of me.

The Goonies was on TV again these days. As well as Blue Lagoon.

I'm glad of having other things to do. If I had to watch tv more often, I'd be in trouble.

I hate it too, today was the last drop...I had picked a wrong subject when getting the coupons for the books and it took me almost 20 mins to talk them into giving me a solution except the 'you should have gotten it right the first time, nothing I can do' kind of bs.
Of course the solution would take a week and I should go to an office on 15 June to get the book - as if they could not find something more flexible... And no, my professor could do nothing either. I did go and they told me to return the next day. Finally I go today, show them the paper and instead of giving me the book they give me a freaking coupon to go take the book myself. Naturally the bookstore wasn't even near the university.

Those *#^$*&@ stay in their office for a few hours in the two days of the week they have chosen to work and will refuse to see anyone much less help with the problems they create. The times they will be kind enough to see us in another day they think we owe them.

Note that they will not even help people that have come from another town that is hours away from Athens. Now you may ask why he did not just call them? As if they pick up the phone. Ever. HAIL SOLITAIRE!!!

I'm sick of this place for all the good things it has to offer.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.
