not a good thing!

see some interesting things in ER's though, the injuries of the drunks are the most amusing normally :)

We ran across this drunk fellow in Germany once. He clogged up the traffic 'cause he'd fallen off his bicycle and hit his head. My brother-in-law (who's a medic) fixed him up before the ambulance could get there. The guy was so hammered he didn't feel anything, even though he was bleeding like crazy... "Keine Schmerzen" he said :)

Yeah. The woman my friend wants to hook me up was described as a "hot, short, curvy girl, who's a vet, dog person, Wiccan, with a darker personality, and hyper intelligent." So my first question was "why is she single then?" Apparently she just got out of a relationship or something. Oh, and apparently she likes good beer. So here's hoping.

I nearly forgot to tell the other interesting part of the story. The woman I met is the girlfriend of a guy I was good friends with in college whom I haven't spoken to in years. Turns out he's now in Zambia working with the Peace Corp because he couldn't figure out to do with his degree. His CHEMISTRY degree. The guy was always a few cents short of a dollar.

Chemist that doesn't know what to do?!
That's like one of the highest-paying, highest demand fields on the market (as most science fields are).

I know what I'm going to do when I graduate with my microbiology degree...so many jobs out there for that field. :D

Good luck with that Omega! Sounds like your lucky day! ;)

Yeah... sans the ER part. ;) I thought it was ironic when I discharged myself and the nurse said to come back if I felt nauseous, some guy behind me starting throwing up.

That doesn't say much about me when I was told she was just like me. In all fairness, I was wearing my psychopath shirt. (It's a black shirt with a road sign that has a spiral in it. Says "psychopath.")
