Not more disorganized then management. Life is one big ironic adventure.
Oh....whatcha studying? :)

Yes, Letters. I'm a student there. It's horribly disorganized if you compare it to, say, the Computer Science Faculty.
@tLD: Perhaps its what they teach? ;)

The Letters Department in my university is also disorganized.
But, then again, I'm studying microbiology, so I don't have to be there too often. :)
Translator school. English and French.

And I don't even know where to start describing the disorganization. Perhaps if they used the Internet more to communicate important stuff it would be better. Right now we have to be on the look out in 3 places for important notices.

:S

I know the feeling. In my university it can be worse, but news tends to travel pretty well by word of mouth over here. So, there is usually no looking for notices for exams and what-not. :)
Oh....whatcha studying?
I kinda meant that quoted part for TT... :embarrased:

But, now that you answered...what year are you in?
Next semester I'll be in second year. :D

oopsy double post!

yeah, it's a drag in the extreme, basically the telco that I work for is in a transformation stage and we are being "rationalised" and here I thought we were being fired ....

we all kinda knew it was coming, but there you go, and the dates are a little fluid, so it could be over in october or january or march .... just depends, but about 100 people are going from my centre and probably 400 to 500 all up from my business unit .... a pretty big rationalisation to my mind (that's what you get when you hire some foreign ceo and his cronies I guess - though it coulda happened anytime really :) )

one of the consolations though is that I will be getting a redundancy payment, been here for about 7 years, so it's worth a little bit of cash, maybe a little over 40k or so (that's australian $, so about 25k euro's or thereabouts)

still gotta find a new job, and I actually liked this one, plus it gave me a lot of time to do other stuff like watch DVD's and post a little, hope the next job grants me that, though I sincerely doubt it
