You wouldn't right now but I see I was different at 18 compared to 20. A period of transition should be in-between of course

Why is it that when i study more then half the material i always get something i only touched upon? And what's worse is that i only needed general stuff to pass, so i wasted my time with the specifics instead of learning more.

...I used to read in general and learn some things about the subject but I soon learned that when you memorize some specifics with high probability to appear it pays off better

As a result I barely read some things once and focus on a few things.
Of course it depends on the subject. Some parts may be too pointless - to even glance at them is a waste of time.
