Mok's patch. HOW ??!!

I cant install said patch for MM6. I have english, original, 1.0 MM6, and it says it cant install because game.lod have wrong version. What the... what a guy is supposed to do about it ?

You have 1.0?

I just got my copy this week and it came as 1.2...and then I put mok's patch in so I could play it in windows xp.

So my suggestion would be to find the 1.2 patch, use it, and then try mok's patch.

Oh yes, i bought it several weeks from release, back in 98.

I can install 1.2, but i thought Mok must be installed on 1.0, since it says it contains 1.1 and 1.2 fixes.

Are there any other locations? I remember signing up for Gamespot way back and I was bombarded with spam afterwards. Even though I was careful what I checked. Plus they insist on so much personal information just for basic downloading.

So did you ever get it to work? I'm having fun with the game.

If you really can't get to work in xp, you could try virtual pc emulating windows 98.

Nope. It works fine, just not with the patch. Which is too bad, coz i'm already tired holding Shift all the time, duh.
Stupid patch that checks file version...
The patch for MM7 did install, however.

I removed the check for games.lod version, 'caurse I had the same problem with Russian MM6.
And here's my patch to be installed over Mok's one: viewtopic.php?t=4839
My patches: MM6 MM7 MM8. MMExtension. Tools. Also, I love Knytt Stories and Knytt Underground. I'm also known as sergroj.
