Might And Magic Complete Problems

A little while ago I loaded up Might and Magic 7 and it worked fine for a while. Then one day it would not run?

I tried to re-load it and this is the error message I get when the Setup Initialization gets to 99%:

Setup has detected that unInstallshield is in use. Please close unInstallShield and restart setup.

Error 432.

Anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?

Are you sure thats for MM7?

But don't patches have to be installed after the game has been installed? I can't even get through the installation....

I had exactly the same problems you've described with my MM Complete and now have MM6, 7 & 8 running almost perfectly on my PC with XP using the patches & instructions herein.

There is a Mok patch for both MM6 & MM7. From your initial post, it sounds like you already have the game installed but cannot get it to launch. The Mok patches address these issues, including the Error 432 message you get when attempting to launch the game.

No it's not installed...

I don't know, mabye it's my computer I have been having trouble with it lately.

I have this kind of problems in install with other games, usually is a cd problem, I made the cds copies and then I try to install them from copies and all were good. cd-roms have that dis-advantage, very weak to time...
