Game Intros

I thought it would be an interesting idea to create a topic about our favorite videogame intros. I've been able to find some of my favorite PC game intros and post them for you. With the exception of Half-Life 2, most of them are 90s.

diablo2 and stronghold had great intros.

stronghlod 2 demo sucks :/

but the original is too old for its intro to be uploaded anywhere, it seems.

Couldn't tell, too many damn DoW DC race stronghold movies showed up, and i wasn't in the mood to search all those pages. You could give it a try if you want.

Not because of it's good acting or any sliver of actual quality, but that's what gives it the proper zombiemovie feel.

I only played RE3, but i did know the intro. And the colored+gore version can't be viewed too many times.

Personally, I've always preferred a quick cut-to-the-chase intro and a nice graphical reward at the end.

Some introes from my favorite games (without two first and two last):

CoMM Intro, WoMM Intro (or teaser?)
UFO: Enemy Unknown (X-COM: UFO Defense), Disciples 2
X-Wing (DOS), TIE Fighter (DOS), X-wing Alliance, Rebel Assault, Rebel Assault II (Intro and most of cinematics - very long)

Favorite intro...hmm...I think Fallout 2 intro is one of
my favorite too. Might and Magic 7 intro video means
a lot to me also(I remember how surprised I was when
I realized that these strange "skins" of those "sea creatures"
are just swimming uniforms!!)
Also WoW has a great intro,I never was
a fun of blizzard's games but this video is so good!!

I actually found the intro to Civ IV underwhelming

this however is a great intro, short, sharp and straight into the action as it finishes!

however this tops them all:
