H3 Power Lich.. It looks awesome, great in battle, and I like the sounds it makes. The death cloud is also a major plus..

Tough question. Candidates are Heroes II Crusader, Titan and Heroes V Elder Druid.

And the winner iiiiisss TITAN! from Heroes II! 4m tall with a soldiers body and armor and he throws lightning bolts like Zeus himself. He also makes a cool sound when he's hit and has an angry face when he trows his lightning bolt. What's not to love?

I loved the purple trolls in H1. In H2 my favourite would be the Power Liche, in H3 the Ancient Behemoth.

I'd have to go out on a limb here and say... Marksmen.
Yep, H3 Marksmen. Nothing really special about them, except maybe their double shot and chainmail coifs, but somehow I always root for the good old PBI's, the ground pounders, the soldiers. As such I would always feel this terrible sadness when going into battle with them, since the AI typically targets archers/marksmen with everything they have, and my hundred-strong stacks would usually end up being cut in half. But you know what they say, they die in threes so build them in fours. I don't know why they're my favorite unit, but they are.

Hydra. No matter which series, it's always hydra. The only one with original tactical concept and versatility.

well I really like shooters, so my favourites would be Master Hunter, or Grand Elf, or for extreme shooting (excluding top level shooters *cough* Titan *cough*) Sharpshooters

H1 - Genie/Ghost
H2 - Crusader/Wolf
H3 - Dragonfly/Sprite
H4 - Pikeman/Hydra
H5 - Assassin/whatever, never liked the game

Heroes 2 Ogre Lord. Had tons of HP for their tier and could really punish those who would attack your orcs and trolls. They could even take on Dragons.
