Open BETA launches!!

there is a problem when i click on the homm5 shortcut on the desktop it opens up a activation window from star soemthng or other and asks me for a key but this is beta and i dont have a key .. how the hell am i supposed to try beta

hello! my name is bogdan. i'm new here. and i'm a real fan of heroes.
so it makes that i had downloaded the homm5 and now i have a problem. it looks like i'll never could be abble to play this beta because they whant a cd code key or something like this...( so i'll ask you because i read your comment and think you know how to proceed, how cand i do to make this game playable?
sorry about my error in typeing, and hope i'm not very bad in english...

finally made it work , i know its just ebta and not final .. but oh dear is the interface cloddy and unintuitive, although i have been a fan of homm since homm3 i hope nival will do a betetr job than this beta is and homm doesnt really need to be 3d it truly wasnt neccasary

We're sorry; the Heroes of Might and Magic V beta is now closed.

This was in fileplanet, when trying to get a code. So i thought the beta is closed. If i'm wrong, i'll edit my posts

FilePlanet is a joke. They have run out of open beta keys for numerous games before. The failure of this open beta in all of its areas - supply, content, restrictions etc. really spell doom for the final game.

I so wish I'm wrong.
(oh and I had to reg again as I forgot my account password and/or my username got deleted - I'm not a newbie! really! *sniff*)

Guys, I can't even get the installer to run. It finishes "reading contents of package", and freezes. I'm really bummed. Any thoughts on this?

I think they could have made it more clear to everyone about the serial key. Well for those who have never downloaded a beta before anyway. I had problems to start with because (like numerous others by the looks of it) I didnt know where to find it. I just assumed they would email me or provide it with the download.
