That was one heck of a cry for attention though. If I were to list all the times I had to stand DL in the month we were both active members, it probably wouldn't fit ;).

And of course, DL's argument with Banedon always comes into my mind when I talk about him...that argument was a convoluted piece of work :D.

But enough about him! :D

I'm not too sure actually. I believe he is an appellate judge who has handled a variety of remedy cases. I usually zone out when my professor starts droning on about it.

breaking this off in a random tangent .... my car got broken into on saturday .... dirty f@#$^%g bastards smashed the front window (drivers) by jamming a screwdriver into the frame (thereby bending the steel of the frame) .... they took nothing from the car (as we had cleaned it out before parking it) except our logbooks .... which we now have to replace, which is a pain in the arse .... and of course pay our insurance excess which is like $200 (or about 120 Euros) ....

me not happy

Let's be emotive.

Well gamers can get ready to get one step closer to being in that virtual world they always dream about. Introducing http://tech.msn.com/products/article.as ... id=3894961

Still in it's infancy stage, it may never leave the incubation period, but if it does it would be a huge step forward to that virtual reality thing people (like myself) have been waiting for for a long time (ok affordable).

@Mytical
At least you are in the positives! :) I took a look at the article and chuckled at this one:
Anecdotally, the system seems to work best with children and others open to believing in their capability, according to Breen. It seems that gamers who believe in their ability to manipulate the virtual world with their brain--the kind of people who are skilled at using their imagination, in other words--are better at using the device.
I had heard some years ago about the same procedure but with wires attached to several brain regions(:S ) but wireless? If such a thing came out in the market it would be revolutionary. But I also worry a bit about the people who cannot fight their addiction. People can lose track of time in a net cafe but this takes things to a whole new level for good or bad.

Not to mention the fact that if it can read your thoughts to manipulate things, then what else can it take out...or put in? The brain runs on electrochemical pulses, so I can understand the principle. I think you are correct though, this could get ... interesting.

Ever been in a dream you can't awake from? It COULD happen now!
A bit early to contemplate such things but that's too good not to be developed. A bit of marketing, more research to make it easier to construct and more affordable and next thing you know it's in the market. Maybe in a few decades or sooner.

While you are still a Genie, I want to make a wish. I wish to be where I want to be so I can be all that I can be, without being where I am 'supposed' to be. :jester:

Such a wish would not sate your inner happiness in the long run. With the lack of need or motivation comes stagnation and I would not wish that for you! :devious: (I am a freelancer and I can refure granting certain wishes! :D )

I got a random speech today. It was seriously weird!
My superior at work told me that he should inform me of who I am allowed to have sex with out of my co-workers. I can't just pick and choose you see, cause I'm one of the store managers. So, my choises were him and then our boss, who's a woman 8|

I was baffled! It was so strange listening to! Supposedly, he told me so that I wouldn't get fired if I slept with the wrong person :|
Is this standard procedure?
Has anyone else experienced similar things?

Help? 8|
This minor magical charm captures the viewer's attention and distra... ooo, pretty...
