@Sauron:

I don't know what you mean by us suggesting balancing multiplayer. Hammerofoz said they should ignore the multiplayer, and I said they should balance the factions out more. Those are the only statements close to what you are getting at.

@hammerofoz:

Well, I assure you I didn't miss your point, and I am quite confused about my point #4 as well. I don't know why I wrote that, I must've got up from the computer and lost my train of thought. So I'll continue:

You think they should focus on a great singleplayer HoMM game. Why? You haven't listed any evidence or backed up your argument at all to prove how it is better, unless of course you were just stating your opinion and leaving it at that.

And I also think your response ignores much of my point as well. Singleplayer campaigns and maps are one-time deals. It's fun once, then it's not anymore. It's not that way with multi. HoMM is all about replayability: random map generator, map editor, it all makes the game replayable infinitely without losing interest. But, singleplayer campaigns are the same every time, which uses no replayability at all.

Yes, it's true, I love MP. But I still like playing SP as well, just only one time through, though. Then it's boring. So use that awesome replayability once in a while and play against a friend, and not the dumb-ass AI.

I meant for HoMM TT. And ummmm... Hammerofoz, I said I wouldn't play the H4 campaigns because I *already* played them, and thus wanted something different, *not* because I didn't like them. Loved them.

I seriously don't get what your saying, well I do, but how are they going to make it a great SP game? It already is *save AI*.

To CRX.

I must be arguing with a university student here. :) Of course it is only my opinion! And as I value the ideals of democracy I will voice my opinion with relish. And i dont agree about your points about single player maps or campaigns being one play only. The best maps for SP offer replayability. My all time favoutite H2 map was Zombie Overlord and it gave you the choice of 5 different factions fighting against an all powerful necromancer. And H2 never had balanced factions.
