Looking for very old DOS game

Unread postby Naki » 17 Jan 2007, 18:29

I’m looking for a old DOS game, that ran on the PC XT. The name of the game executable was JUZY.EXE (or JUZY.COM, not sure). The game was Spanish (??), you played a criminal/robber. The game was with CGA graphics, some levels with a Red/Black/Yellow/Green pallette, others with a Black/White/Purple/Green pallette. There was a shop from which you could buy various tools, like screwdriver, drilling machine, etc. The game character could throw bricks at his enemies using Space, if you pressed and held Space he would throw the brick higher/further away. Enemies included mice (in the underground sewer levels), monkeys, a helicopter, the moon, and some others. The hero could replenish his health by drinking beer glasses. There also was a subway in the game, and a prison (I didn’t find a way to escape from the prison, although there surely was one).
Google yields nothing relevant when I look for “juzy”. If anyone knows and/or has this game, thank you in advance!

You sure that is Juzy? I mean, in Portuguese and I believe that also in Spanish, the closest word to match that is Juiz, which means "Judge". But I went looking for combinations like Juiz, Juyz, .EXE or .COM, but nothing related to a game is found, just other Brazilian and some Spanish stuff.

I've replied you just to clarify the word that may be another one, which could help you in advance. :)

Yeah, I'm sure the executable was JUZY.EXE/JUZY.COM... Actually, the only text that appeared in the game was when you were in jail, and I was quite young when I played the game (long time ago), so maybe it's not Spanish... In the other parts of the game there was no text at all. Hmm, yeah, if you can't find it in Google, then it must not exist... ;| ;|

You could try looking on some of the sites that specialise in very old games, somewhere like Hotu is as good as place as any to try.

I asked in another forum, and someone told me the game is called Goody. The executable is GOOD.COM, so I guess someone renamed the file to JUZY.COM before it got to me. There are also Windows and Linux remakes of the game (Freeware), which you can get here
