Getting wisdom teeth pulled is a pain. I was kept awake the first time I had one removed. I wasn't given any gas or anything; just 5 shots to the numb the guns. Nothing like watching smoke, blood, and pieces of your gum coming out of your mouth. When I had to get the others out, I was unconscious, so it wasn't that bad. Not the ideal way to spend a spring break.

That didn't really help my fear of dentists (it's not realy the dentists that are the problem I guess, it's more fear of pain and all that sorts of scary things) Now they have to give me shots, pour a bottle of whisky down my throat, club me over the head and give me the old N2O.

But I'm sure it will be OK...

I had some pains when my wisdom teeth were growing a few years ago, but they haven't troubled them since. Hope this won't jinx it

Now, for less painful randomness: it dawned to me this morning at dawn that I haven't played a fun/funny computer game in quite a while ('fun' as in 'causing pure unstoppable laughter'). Sure, Heroes and Civ 4 are entertaining and mind-challenging, but I don't particularly laugh my ass off with them. Last time I did so was with Monkey Island 4.

So, what's the funniest game you played?

The game that me laugh like a maniac was Earthworm Jim 2, when I saw a pig on that Yoga stance, then started floating and went astray. That was fun.

Playing Tekken, hum, 3, with that doctor was also fun. His strange moves and explosions made me and my friends laugh rather a lot. Just like Voldo in SoulCalibur.

One game I've played lately and has made me laugh several times is runaway 2. Brian's lines are simply hilarious!
Of course to enjoy this you must like adventure games and try to make the most silly combinations! He then replies to you with sarcasm
No need to have played the original runaway.

Well on a random topic I think I must have missed that mystery rank . At 1960 and havn't seen it yet. Guess it could be higher, but maybe I just missed it. Now back onto teeth . My wisdom teeth grew in without any pain or fuss, and grew in straight. When I go to the dentist the question arrises "Ok how do you keep your teeth so clean?" and oddly I usually don't put much effort into oral hygiene. (Which confuses me how my teeth are so clean). Must be a genetic oddity. Maybe to make up for the Non-Alcoholic Straeto (spelling) Hepetitis which is a genetic disease I have (called NASH). I hate the dentist, doctors, and hospitals (especially since I have to go their regularly ugh). Though shots no longer bother me, nor does giving blood so everything has a silver lining.

Maybe you keep cleaning them with your tongue all the time, avoiding any concentration of particules. And maybe you drink water regularly.

Tomorrow I'll see the dentist to appoint a data to pull my wisdom teeth out. I must do that. Yesterday I went through all the day with them aching and that was FOD#$%. I wonder if I'll grow dim without wisdom. *insert disturbed smile here*

I hope you don't have any more problems with your teeth. Just remember - "You can endure anything if you know how long it will last." Taking the teeth out will not last long and the gums will heal up in a couple of days. Now go suck on a tea bag!

The relief of the teeth is already happening. I just feel that it'll end sooner or later, but the feeling of it ending makes me feel like it...will...end...? Ok, you got the picture.

Maybe the score is bit low-maybe just right, however what the reviewer has to say is certainly interesting. Ubi didn't really try this time and offered little for what was asked. And gave us a glimpse of new content which will be available in the NEXT one...

It only hurts coz it's true.

The caravan, a staple of previous Heroes titles, makes a comeback, although it probably should never have been removed from the game in the first place.

No new creatures, buildings or heroes for existing factions.

Yeah, i'd like to see that happen.

Though I've played neither H5 or the expansion, and so really can't offer an opinion, I do nevertheless disagree with the following statement:

the game changes back to the traditional turn-based mechanics that make multiplayer all but impossible on a game like this.

Point of fact, I used to love playing HoMM multiplayer, specifically because of the turn-based nature. With that mentality, chess shouldn't be a "multiplayer" game. The time where the other player was moving always gave me time to: do my coursework, go to the bathroom, get a snack, think about strategy, read a book, or whatever. People are so impatient these days.

Yeah but the review was referring to the delay between turns as the reason multiplayer in HoMM could never work. At least, that's the way I read it.

You are right, that is my problem. I'm also used to multitasking while turns so it doesn't bug me much. However I have heard that in larger maps the turn is too long.

Well I can't vouch for H5, having never played it, but in H2, which is the game I played multiplayer the most, I never felt the turns were too long. I usually just read a book or worked on a term paper. In fact, since I would have probably not done the term papers otherwise, it could be said that this was a case of video games IMPROVING my grades.
