Praising Mytical for her courage and her humility - what she did by creating that topic is highly commendable in my eyes, especially the way she worded it.

Titan, you're not in trouble, either. (That I know of.) I know you tended to get lumped together with DL all the time because of your high post rate. However, to your praise, I don't remember ever seeing you insult another board member. That's a very good thing.

He uses his power for good then?

TT - Post rate is a funny thing. The more you post, the higher you are on the radar.

Not really, including everyone in the vote is a fairly recent development, there is a longer history of classical democracy (women, slaves and others couldn't vote).

I'd like to praise history, for showing us that the more things change the more they stay the same.

That goes for the entire Round Table. I am sorry if I did not make myself clear, but it was not limited to that particular thread.

In the name of the community here, I hope I can say that we will not talk about the decision any longer, but we have the right to talk about DL and praising him. This is the Praise Tread after all and, IMO, even banned members may be praised.
I am back and ready to... ready to... post things.

I praise Ethric for starting a purge.
Some definitely is going overboard now. Are you going to delete DL's name now out of the history books of this board? Will you delete every post that mentions his name or even, as in case of my post agrees with someone who does?
So unsure about your decision that you have to put out the big club and punch the dissidents?

Right, except that:
Kalah wrote:This one gets to live so long as people congratulate one another on things that have some merit.

Don't use this thread as a cover to keep discussing an obsolete subject. Now, this is the very last thing that will be said about the banning of DL on this public forum: The reasons for our actions have already been publicized, even though we were under no obligation to do so. The end.

Let me convey what Sauron, ThunderTitan and Corribus have already expressed in the DaemianLucifer thread. Angelspit, you always seem to know what to do in a difficult situation. What transpired in the past week could not have been an easy decision, despite the unanimous vote. You understood our bewilderment and reacted quickly yet decisively. Your decision to close this thread and start another where we could all voice our opinions is a masterstroke, and for that I really must praise you.

Hail Angelspit! I wish I had your skills at these matters :)

Frankly i would have prefered he'd just reopen the thread Nytical started... DL doesn't deserve a 2nd thread named after him.

Praise the Divine Expectoration anyway.

Praise Hungary for beating both of them.
