That's not really always true. Some vegetables (such as the tomato, the carrot, and spinach) can actually be MORE healthy for you cooked. This is because some nutrients like carotenes and lycopenes, as well as some vitamins, can only be properly absorbed by the body in the presence of fats. Also many vegetables are made up of indigestable fibers, which need to be cooked in order to be properly digested. Have you been gassy lately? Probably eating too many raw vegetables. On the other hand, some nutrients are broken down by cooking. So the best way to extract the most from your veggies is to eat a mixture of raw AND cooked vegetables, and to eat a good variety of them as well.

Tomato is a fruit ,spinach is one of the rare exceptions I mentioned earlier,and carrots are simply awful cooked.

And no GC, there is one word for soup and another for the one with borsh in it. (there are other differences, but i'm too sick too think atm) Just didn't know what else to call it in english.

In Romanian, soups are clearer that ciorba. We have noodle-soup, for example.

You don't have to, it works with a normal A too, it just refers to a particular ciorbă (as in the one you just ate, not the one made from X or Y meat - the vegetable one is called just vegetable ciorbă).

If i go to a fast food resturant I usually order their green meal (I'm also one of those vegetarians), MAX (swedish fast food chain) has the best veggie burgers I've ever tried.

We had a place that sold a nice falafel some years ago, but I don't know if it's as good as it used to be, so I'll pass for now...

Haven't been out to a 'real' resturant for a while now (mostly pubs or pizza places), but usually they have one or two veggie meals to choose from (whoopie)
