Hmmm... clearly I missed something juicy here. I guess that's what I get for sticking primarily to the campfire these days.Banedon wrote:I do not accept your praise DaemianLucifer. You evidently don't know what your mindless arguments have caused:
Ah yes... those were the good old days. Excuse me while I send my little bro an email letting him know how lucky he is we are in the 21st century, where we have to all be nice.ThunderTitan wrote:And this whole punishment for murder thing gets in the way too. Gone are the days when you could crush you brothers head in with a stone and all that happened to you was being sent to wander about.

And I didn't even get to say goodbye.Kalah wrote:What has been said here has made it obvious to everyone that DaemianLucifer has learned nothing from the temporary banishment issued less than a month ago. He has made it obvious he is and will be nothing but a nuisance to the members of the Round Table. That makes our decision all the easier.
As a consequence of his repeated violations of forum rules, DaemianLucifer has been banned permanently. Good riddance.

Yeah. Me, too. I do look into some of the other forums, too, but not H5, since I don't own/play it.Corribus wrote:Hmmm... clearly I missed something juicy here. I'd like to praise my universities secretariat(?) for being full of 4stars. And i'm pretty sure some of my classmates would like to praise a certain teacher for that too (i could tell because of how they looked at me while i was laughing).

Nah! That wouldn't be oringinal anymore, and most likely easy to detect.ThunderTitan wrote: So, anyone think he'll pull a Shuyssar?! Any ideea Veldrynus?
It is a shame that he is gone.
Well, at least the usage of that damn devil smiley will decrease...

Well, I'm not quite prepared to praise what happened here.
While I do agree that DL's argumentation is sometimes more rhetorical than to the issue:
You always need at least two to create something like a 27 pages long thread.
To DL's credit I would like to say that it shouldn't take anyone a couple of weeks' elaborate answering to realize that something isn't leading to anything. Creating a thread like that and afterwards complaining that someone wasted ones time, is kind of strange, at least it looks strange to me. I'm not that sure what exactly caused that ban, but it certainly looks to me now he got banned because someone else didn't have the good sense to let go of it and went to great length to counter DL in his own style, that is: painstakingly ripping quotes out of contexts and making comments on them.
Banedon, never let yourself drag onto a battlefield you aren't really comfortable with. The other thing is, if you let yourself drag onto it, don't fight for weeks and start complaing afterwards. Instead, if you chose to fight, do it with your own weapons.
Bottom line is, I'm not really pleased, seeing someone banned because he likes arguing more than anything else.

Personally I agree with what JJ said... I mean that was an arguement as any other arguements we had here. Banedon, you say that you wasted your time, but keep in mind that DL also used maybe the same amount of time to answer your posts.
I do not agree with the fact that after a debate in which both participants willingly fought, DL should get banned after your discontent. You should know, as everyone else must, that debates are usually impossible to gain... more important are the ideas that emerge from a conversation like this, and can be used later on.
To keep this short, I finish by saying: you both used up some time in that conversation (not only you Banedon), and the conversation itself was not a waste of time. I believe it contributed to a better understanding of the Heroes game and strategy.
And the last thing... I believe you took everything too seriously... I mean it seems to me that DL was trying to put an end to the long conversation by simply saying: "we agree to disagree"
I would ask the mods to reconsider because this place won't be as fun without Daemian Lucifer

the part of saying that he likes to annoy you, I find it simply to be a joke... I think he put up as much seriousness into the manner as you did, but simply decided that it is time to end it because it started to waste time for both of you (it was you who wanted to continue with another debate, and he just stated that it is useless to continue). So I would say that he tried to save you both time in the end, and not waste yours...No.Like I said, nothing will be gained by that.People have their oppinions, and you wont ever change that. Some believe furries are killers, and you have to accept it.I accept that some find them less useful
I would ask the mods to reconsider because this place won't be as fun without Daemian Lucifer
