:applause: Well done!

(I picked him because this very day I'm using his law.) Too many common letters though.

We learned about his law two years ago in chemistry (of course...), but all I can remember about it is that we used a natural logarithm in it, somewhere...

[checks wikipedia] Ooh, now I remember! Hmm... It seemed much less complicated when our teacher presented it...

Edit:Oops. Damn edit button next to quote. Sorry. GC
Never mind, it's only the campfire...

Was roughly...
KF - how to avoid vowels, other than by picking a small welsh village?
GC - by picking a "football" player? Now guess some letters!

Okay, I'll have Q, U, X and K. :-p
Just kidding, I'll post a proper guess on a proper post in a moment...

Picking a small welsh village is easy too: then almost any letter you say, it's bound to be in the word!

Just FYI - it is pretty simple: basically the rate of a chemical reaction is proportional to the function of exp(Ea/T), where T is the temperature and Ea is a value that depends on the nature of the reaction. Of course, not all reactions obey the law, so one wonders if you can really call it a law in the first place. :)

@Corribus
Thanks for the explanation. It's much clearer now. :)
