In the latest post by Fabrice (on this topic) on the official forum that I could find using their search engine, he denied the fact that a map or campaign editor had been confirmed. So who knows, in the same thread he also said the RMG's existence has not been confirmed. ;| :|

Well yes, but i strongly hope, that 'not confirmed' doesn't necessarily mean that it won't be in the final release... at least concerning the map editor...

The game's lifespan will be reduced significantly if there's no map editor. I hope it's even more powerful than H4's.

I believe that in one of the Q/A with Nival the Map editor was confirmed.

Greeeeat Thelonious! I was sure hoping that there would be a map editor it is probably the most important added feature in Heroes to me. Hey , you might be the maddest magician around but I'm the looniest Christian Warlock on the planet. ha ha

Sorry I read the same thing, but as I said Fabrice later denied that either an editor or RMG had been confirmed. Now the last time I did a search on the official forum was last week after which I started the thread "Great Graphics so far........Ah So What", and as far as I know nothing has changed. B-)

Map editor will be included

Check the official site and "key features". Map editor is the last thing on the list.

H3 had an editor, too. Still you can't compare with the one in H4. I wish it's better than that... I'm pretty sure it will.

I did and it does, so if we can stir enough interest, we might be able to get them to release a campaign editor with it. :D

Well if a map editor was exclueded I surely think twice about buying it - that map inclued are only nice to play max. 3 times... that gives us like a maximum of 1 year of playing (also depending on the number of maps and frequency of playing)

But after a year you're meant to be buying the expansion pack and 6months after that another then 6months after that the sequel! Who makes money off custom maps? :)

Seriously, I'm sure there's gotta be some sort of editor, but I haven't heard it confirmed either way.

Ubisoft, if they play it right.

Like have a huge map date base - with all custom maps that are send in, make lots of constests, tournaments - ofcourse for a small entering fee or something like that...

simply the availability of user made maps should already increase sales.
