Swordman Evolution
Swordman Evolution
It was a bit difficult to create this evo poll, I was about to include the paladins from H1 and H2 but then the paladin from H5 wouldnt fit in since he ride a horse. So I decided to go for the lower tier knights.
So which strong, gentle, princess saving metal man will prevail?
H1
H2
H3
H4
H5 (not updated pictures!)
Oh Im so sorry DL but 3 days have passed loong ago

Voted the H5 Squire btw, the updated ones looks much better but couldnt find a fitting picture of tha' guy. He looks just what a heroic knight should look like. The colors are well fitting, nice looking shield, sword and the helmet is cool looking.
My second place goes to the H3 swordman and crusader. They look realistic but not the style I was looking for.
The H4 Crusader have a weird helmet and no shield??? 3rd place
H2 and H1 share the last place. Pixel and paper doll short said...

Voted: Heroes I Swordsman
He's kinda looks a little goofy, kinda looks a little scared, not too fancy and brings back such fond memories.
I also really like the Footmen & Squires in Heroes V but I knew they'd get lots of votes, while the lowly Heroes I Swordsman wouldn't … so Heroes I Swordsman got my vote.

I voted for the H3 Crusader. He is, IMO, the coolest Swordsman of them all .

Voted for the H4 Crusader. Actually, I wasn't a big fan, but it grew on me a lot. He also looks cool when he raises his sword in the air.
H3 Crusader isn't too bad, but I don't like his helmet (bucket-head FTL). I really would have voted for him, if it wasn't for the helmet.
The H2 ones are drawn well, but they feel too basic. H1 Swordsman looks slightly worse.
The H5 ones have oversized swords and shields (and war boots?!), which make them look like midgets. And apparently the H5 Footman forgot to change his pyjamas.

Damn.. can't remember if i voted or not. Anyway, right now i'd vote for the H3 Crusader if i could, for some reason i seem to like trashcan helmets.
