So "she" had more then zero Y chromosomes?!Gender-bender
Asian Games track silver medalist fails gender test
NEW DELHI, India (AP) -- An Indian runner who won a silver medal in the women's 800 meters at the Asian Games failed a gender test and was stripped of the medal.
Santhi Soundarajan, 25, took the gender test in Doha, Qatar, after placing second.
The Indian Olympic Association said Monday it has been told by the Olympic Council of Asia that the 25-year-old runner was disqualified.
"IOA has asked the Athletic Federation of India to return the medal as desired by the Olympic Council of Asia," the Indian Olympic group said.
The IOA also asked its medical commission to inquire into Soundarajan's case and report within 10 days.
There are no compulsory gender tests during events sanctioned by the International Association of Athletics Federations, but athletes may be asked to take a gender test. The medical evaluation panel usually includes a gynecologist, endocrinologist, psychologist and internal medicine specialist.
An Indian athletics official who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media said Soundarajan almost certainly never had sex-change surgery.
Instead, the official said Soundarajan appeared to have "abnormal chromosomes." The official also said the test revealed more Y chromosomes than allowed.
Soundarajan was not immediately available for comment.

just so you know $A140 is about 70 EurosJakarta hotel puts $140 hamburger on menu
A hotel in Indonesia is dishing out a hamburger that costs more than twice the monthly minimum wage in some parts of the country.
The $A140 hamburger, offered by the Four Seasons, is made of Kobe beef with foie gras, Portobello mushrooms and Korean pears, and is served with french fries.
They are not exactly selling like hotcakes but the hotel says it has sold 20 of the hamburgers since they were launched this month.
"One burger has 225 grams of Kobe beef. It is so expensive because the flavour is really different," said Erwan Ruswandi, the chef of the restaurant offering the gourmet burger.
"The calves in Kobe get special treatment ... they drink beer mixed with milk, vitamins and eat pesticide-free grass.
"We import all the materials and they are high quality so it is so expensive."

Beat that as a Christmas present.Walmart's Zunes, now with more porn?
It's not the first time, nor the last, that people will find porn on (supposedly) new or recycled consumer electronics. This time it happened to a family in Southside Chicago who purchased Microsoft's Zune from the local Walmart for their 12 year-old daughter. The daughter, who says the box looked like it had been opened (the charger was missing) discovered that her player contained porn. When confronted, the Walmart store manager initially blamed Microsoft for the pre-load. Later, a Walmart spokesman said they would investigate the matter and provide the couple with a full refund plus a $25 gift card -- presumably to pick up a copy of "My Two Daddies" to help the mother explain to her daughter why the "5 men were having sex with each other." Uh, "join the social" Microsoft?

S Koreans offered prizes to shun prostitutes
The South Korean Government is handing out gifts for office workers who promise not to visit brothels this holiday season.
The Ministry of Gender Equality is offering to pay companies whose employees pledge not to buy sex after what are typically alcohol-soaked, year-end parties.
"If you promise yourself to make it a healthy night out at the end of the year and if you recommend this to others, we are giving lots of prizes," the ministry said in an Internet posting.
A ministry official told the Korea Times daily: "Korean corporate culture that includes heavy drinking is also what makes buying sex acceptable as a way for male-bonding, which is proving to be a hard-to-break ritual".
The Government is offering movie tickets based on the number of employees who pledge not to visit prostitutes, as well as a cash prize of about $1,370 for the company that enlists the most employees in the campaign.

T'would be interesting if they gave porno movie tickets out (that would defeat the whole purpose of the campaign ).
But, I seriously doubt they're giving out tickets for that .

NZ farmer puts sheep up for adoption
It might not be too late to come up with a Christmas gift for the person who has everything.
An enterprising New Zealand farmer has put his whole sheep flock up for adoption on the Internet.
Chris Adams runs 6,000 sheep on his property Brightview in Otautau on New Sealand's South Island.
He is hoping people around the world love lamb as much as he does.
Mr Adams has launched a website which allows people to adopt their very own sheep, a venture targeted more at people who do not have animals in their daily lives, rather than their daily diets.
Adoptive parents will be kept informed of their sheep's welfare, be able to visit it, name it, and in the near future will even be able to watch it on a webcam.
