Why isn't there proper widescreen support?

The new Heroes games produced by Ubisoft. Please specify which game you are referring to in your post.

Why isn't there proper widescreen support?

It isn't exactly hard to code the ui to support widescreen... all they have to do is draw the vertical stretch of an object based on %age, and the horizontal by a matched pixel ratio to eliminate the damn vertical squishing or horizontal strretching... as for the camera they just need to make the horizontal fov a larger angle than the traditional 90 (I believe 120 deg's is proper).

As for your question, I wouldn't know (as I use a "fullscreen" monitor myself). I guess it's one of Nival's little mysteries :devil:.
