S-C-R-A-B-B-L-E

Unread postby Caradoc » 13 Dec 2006, 17:06

Any SCRABBLE players out there? If so, I've got big news for you. I just got the fourth edition of the Scrabble Dictionary, and there are now five new two letter words (total of 101) that will dramatically affect game play.

They are FE, KI, OI, QI, and ZA. Previously there were no two letter words with Q or Z and F was just FA and K was just KA. FE, KI, QI, and ZA all take S's. OI does not.

ZA is short for PIZZA.

I used to be very good at scrabble. My general strategy was to make the board so congested that my opponent couldn't enter any words himself.

And those are words used in America? I've never heard anyone say Za instea of Pizza.

Sine those words will be very easy to make, the point values for K, Q, and Z need to be lowered.

I used to play scrabble quite a lot, but haven't played in some time now.

:disagree: It's ridiculous .... games tend to be real easy, people are complaining cause the re-released FF3 is too hard just cause you can't save every 10 seconds, and you might die a few times in working out a bosses weakness .... it's a shame

I know many non-racist oi-bands, the business is a very good example of that, even the clash had a few songs with "oi" in them. and skinheads != racists (well some are, but that doesn't mean all skinheads are racists...) :)

You do realise that the most common use of that word in english is for refering to neo-nazies, right?! I'm pretty sure you're not a nazi if you ain't racist.

And there's also a difference between using the word in your lyrics and being part of a type of punk-rock.
