Wonder which would go to hell, the employer or the employee? Applies to working Sundays too. (you wanted random thoughts, this is the first thing that poped in mind)

Gaidal Cain wrote:All of them! The most traditional of the Swedish food all is probably the herring, but not everyone likes it. Janssons Frestelse is also nice, especially with meatballs. And then there's the ham and the sylta and probably some gravlax.
Well, we didn't get any of that. There was only this pink Danish pudding of some sort (it was the only thing someone spoke about in front of everybody, but it was in Danish and I didn't understand; it was quite funny actually to see the speaker going on and on about that pink pudding).

The Norwegian and Finnish choirs sang several Christmas carols and they were very good. I especially liked the Finnish version of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

At the end, though, us Finnish students were called in our teachers' office where we had a surprise. One of the older years had prepared a traditional Finnish food (can't remember the name, it was something long and starting with an H).

All in all, this Julefest/Pikkujoulu celebration was nice. Now bring on Christmas! :-D

Um... I don't have the lyrics. :D
I remember that it's not Rudolph in Finnish, it's Peter.

You wanted random, here they are:
Christened Camilla Rosemary Shand and known since childhood as "Milla", the Duchess...
Now that's a tradition to continue. And may she get plenty of men that want to be her .... well you know.

You know Dasher, and Dancer, and
Prancer, and Vixen,
Comet, and Cupid, and
Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose
and if you ever saw it
you would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
play in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,
you'll go down in history!

you asked for it DL!!
