no that was a general comment about it being hot in Jan, I am aware that that is summer, not spring :D

Bah, as for all you cold people, 31 today and then staying high 20's til we get up to 34 by Sunday

Oh and got my pool blanket finally and the pool is much more pleasant now, water temp at about 24 degrees after the sun's been on it for a few hours :D

Gray, gloomy with a chance of rain.

On the other hand, it's going -20 to -33 (F) in Fairbanks (Alaska). I'll take my 60s, thank you very much. B-)

I can never understand them.Especially my mother.I have to close the windows whenever she is at home, even though it is so hot(10+outdoors,up to 20 inside).

get rid of the kitties ....

as for people wearing jackets and the like when there's snow on the ground and it's only -15 with a wind chill factor of -102, I suspect I would be one of those, acclimatisation has had its way with me

Give her a few more years, then she'll be opening doors and windows in the middle of winter.

It's been reeeeally cold the last few days, the frost sticking to the ground like Scrooge to a money bag. It'll thaw up over the next few days, and now most of the snow is all but disappeared. We are currently looking into allegations that King Winter has been kidnapped by the Finns.

Cool and rainy, with snow expected in the mountains. Skiers (and snowboarders) are waiting impatiently.
