*ahem*

I'm not sure how delivery restrictions are from Amazon.com to Australia as far as video games in particular are concerned, but they don't seem to have BG1 anyway. They do have BG2 though...

But hey Stefan, if you really really really want it, fork over some cash and I'll send it to ya. :creative:

Thanks for the offer, but since I am still going thru ToB, and always have ID, IDII and the expansions I should be right :D

Cheers though

I've just played through BG1...

I just installed BG2, with the expansion, and I seem to remember that I am supposed to start off in a prison... yet here I am in the woods, being chased by other Baalspawn, and going to Hell to meet Sarevok etc. before ending up in a besieged town where the general has gone mad and his guards are just as mad... what's up?

That means you actually started the expansion, Throne of Bhaal. What you're looking for is Shadows of Amn. You should get to make that choice not long after starting the game up.

Aaaah, riiiiiight.... In BG, the xp simply added on some areas, whereas here it's a whole new game? Nice.

OK, the weirdest thing... ever. I was just doing a quest, right? In Shadows of Amn, right? And I was going into a tent, right, to find this bad guy called Kalah, right? And I figured that it was a mirror of myself or something, right? And then it turned out the guy (gnome, illusionist) was actually named Kalah! :D

You do that as well. I think it's been mentioned to you a couple of times, yet you didn't remember it? Norwegians...

By the way, if you're going to play BG2, DONT play it without the BG2 Fix Pack released by The Gibberlings 3. It fixes up some huge plotholes, enables some content that was cut but still included in the data files, and makes everything run a heck of a lot more smoothly :)

Also, if you're playing the original Baldurs Gate and also have Baldurs Gate 2, get BG Trilogy. It allows you to play the entire series as one contiguous game, using the enhanced resolutions and graphics of the BG2 engine, and you can carry your artifacts etc right through to the beginning of BG2 and beyond. Its magic :D

Me? Or the original poster?

Ive finished BG2 around 25 times in total, with every combination of NPC i can think of. Brilliant game, and more replay value than you'd think.

Having said that, Planescape Torment is better. IMO, the best PC game, ever :)
