I am so getting that demo. I like the Star Wars universe, and fortunately the games based on the license are usually decent.

There are also rumors about Knights of the Old Republic 3 being under development.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

I have seen several videos of Empire at war and i must say it looks ALOT better then the AOE clone SW Galactic Battlegrounds and Force Commander.

There will be a KOTOR 3 and I hope they make it just as deep as Morrowind/Oblivion less linear, more romantic stuff and the influence gain from Kotor 2, also be able to invite any character in the game would be great if every single character have unique looks, background stories and equipment. I want to visit Coruscant,Sulon,Sullustan, Hoth , shorter said I want to visit every planet mentioned in every SW game and movies! And last bigger locations more interactive environments :hoo:

Kyle Katarn and Yoda ROCKS! And dont forget Atton,Han Solo, Chewbacca, Zaalbar, Hanharr, Bao-Dur,Darth Vader............ :D

I haven't been able to get the download to complete. Gamespot's public download servers went down yesterday.

The idea of multi-tiered RTS are intriguing, but whether it works or is fun is iffy.

The Star Trek RTS Star Trek: Legacy looks hot, too.

I downloaded it from fileplanet (I love it, even when I'm not a suscriber).
Overall I think it was a pretty good game. The campaign mode is pretty good, and the tactics you have to use in each of it's modes are different that the usual hack n slash. The first (well, and last) time I played, I ended up slaughtered by an enemi turret only because my artillery had to be able to see it to shoot, which bothered me a little, but soon you get the hang of it.
The graphics are slow and a bit messy at times. Some textures are un-filtered, and the infantry runs like idiots (They move the right arm with the right leg, I don't know what the animators were thinking about).
If you like the strategy part, there's still other awesome games to play such as Rome : Total War, but if you are into the StarWars universe as well, then I reccommend this game.

btw, anybody played SW Force Commander?

It does look very good, judging by the screenshots. Too bad my video card can't support it. It's nice to see a decent Star Wars RTS. When I first saw Galactic Battlegrounds I thought it was a mod of Age of Kings. Shocked when I found out it wasn't.

Can't wait for kotor 3. Too bad kotor 2 was a bit rushed at the end. I've read somewhere they're going to make combat realtime, makes more sense. And i want to kill Revan and the Exile with my new all elite hero from kotor 3 :D

That makes me laugh at you. :lolu:

So, are they going to cover the Original Trilogy? That would be cool.
