I shoveled some today. Not too much fun, actually. The fun bit is throwing it onto the street below and see if it hits anybody.

Snowballs? No. Snowhugelumpsthesizeofnobody'sbusiness? Yes.

It's not snowing much today - it looked like it might for a while, with a few flakes falling while I was shoveling, but I guess that was just a silent protest from the new snow against the removal of their brothers from our balcony...

A well made snowball to the nogging > lump of snow. And you get points based on the bodypart you hit.

What next, you don't tag public transport vehicles either?

If when you get out of the water you ain't blue in the face it's too hot... man that was a great summer, mostly because the public pool wasn't crowded like hell.

It's alright today. However, strangely, yesterday it was warm enough to melt some of the left-over halloween chocolate candies. I try and unwrap one, and when I pick it up, it deforms.

Not my experience. The weather forecast on TV seems to me like they picked randomly parts of the report they got from the meteorologists. The inside informations I get are right some 85% of the time, while the TV forecasts guesses maybe just 50% of the time.

Hmm seems like this should be on the joke thread but a weatherman is the type of person who can stand out in the rain and tell you it is clear and has no chance of rain. Never listen to them, and arround here when they say it will be sunny, might want to take a snow jacket (yes even in summer) just in case.

To quote john hodgman:
A weatherman is the person that stands in the toughest blizzard, hit by the strongest winds, when no sane person would dare to venture outside.A meteorologist is the person that sends him there.
