Game Music
Game Music
What game has your favorite soundtrack? I'll have to go with Lineage 2, the music (composed by Bill Brown and Inon Zur) is just incredible:) (you can listen to it here - my favorite is Outro - After the Storm)
My number 2 would be Spellforce 1, the music is superb
What are your favorite musics?

No matter how powerful one becomes, there is always someone stronger. That's why I'm in a constant pursuit of power, so I can be prepared when an enemy tries to take advantage of me.

@Meandor: I definitely have to second you on that one. Of course, I'll extend the list just a bit.
Chrono Cross (and Chrono Trigger as well)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (I loved that music; ah, nostalgia!)
Those are the most memorable games I've played in terms of game music.

Re: Game Music
I liked Chrono Trigger, but I think that Chrono Cross had the soundtrack I liked most. I liked FF III, IX and X too.Asheera wrote: What are your favorite musics?
Heroes series have some good music.
"There’s nothing to fear but fear itself and maybe some mild to moderate jellification of bones." Cave Johnson, Portal 2.
Re: Game Music
With that we can all agree (since posting in this very forum implies that we played Heroes )Panda Tar wrote:Heroes series have some good music.

I only listen 99% to movie/game/anime soundtracks
Too hard to choose. I simply love orchestral music

All humans do is to go to a place, bountiful of nature, and live there. Then the human multiplies and sucks all the wonders there. They move to the next. There is one thing that works the same way as that: a virus.
Oh, yes, there were those games too. Don't fancy much that metal rock of Guilty Gears' though.
Ah, yes, I liked Donkey Kong's sound tracks. The Third game I didn't like much - too much childish.
Brackthorn, Prince of Persia I and Super Metroid were other games I liked the songs.
Now, one that I really didn't like was Top Gear 2.

Nice choice. I usually don't like that genre of music but I do agree with you, it was different and I quite enjoyed listening to it.Veldrynus wrote:Tropico.
I usually don't like the latin type of music, but this time it's different.
I like music from games such as:
Heroes of Might and Magic 2
Heroes of Might and Magic 3
Duke Nukem 3D
Shadow Warrior
Fable: The Lost Chapters
Starcraft
Diablo 2
The Movies
Crusader: No Remorse
Tyrian
Raptor: Call of the Shadows
Those are just a few, I don't want to go through the entire list of game music I listen to.
I make music because I want to, not because I have to.

You can either agree with me, or be wrong...
Actually that doesn't sound weird at all. Pretty much all of the Mega Man games have good music. I especially like the music from the game, Mega Max X. It is absolutely great.darknessfood wrote: - Mega Man games, sounds weird, but i like to listen to it when dashing around like crazy
