I think best way is just arrange game on forum/etc and play by direct IP. Some ppl use hamachi, but it really adds troubles.

Install Hamachi and join the Celestial Heavens - HoMM 4 group (password: heroes). It may take a while to find someone to play with since real life commitments take up so much of our time and since HoMM games require you to invest a hefty amount of time to begin with. Happy huntin'!
