Definitely HoMM IV. I like the hipster kerchief. :-D

Efreet Sultan. It looks royal. Also, he's got bling.

The pimp factor was slightly off-putting for me.

Voted: H4 Efreet.

I love the way he looks and that 'self-satisfied' look on his face.

H4's eferet only strength was in his hero killing potential. I hated that my hero with GMresistence is suffering in a fight with 100 of efferets when he can kill 200 of any other lvl 2 unit.

Doesn't really look like a turban to me. More like a halved beehive.

I agree that was one of their biggest strengths, but not their only strength. Their mobility was a big asset as well.

By contrast the H4's "turban" looks like one of these:

Who said the HoMM IV efreet is wearing a turban / or should be wearing a turban for that matter?

In H4 every flyer was mobile. That's only a point when you were choosing between Efereti and Nightmare.

Errr....yes? I don't know what you are getting at. ;|

How is flyers being mobile only a property of HoMM IV?

As for your second, um, sentence ... It's like saying the nightmare's terror ability is only a point when choosing between them and the efreeti. Huh? :|

Well it's wearing something. I'd rather see a beehive turban than one of those.

It's a kerchief, and it so happens that in their spare time the efreeti like to take a spin on their motorcycles with the Axeoth Daredevils. :D

I wouldn't say since 'cos excluding the Dark Champions no creature has that ability.

So your point was that the efreeti's mobility is not that useful because many creatures can fly? :|

No. That wouldn't be true.
Mentioning that a Unit is a flier is like mentioning that Someone speak English nowdays. Though it's undoubtedly a plus. But I would almost never choose for Eferets becausd they fly.

H3 Sultan for me. I like the turban better than the H4 one, and the regular Efreet doesn't look as good.

I beg to differ. Chaos only has access to two fliers, and especially if you don't choose the dragons later on, the efreet is a welcome addition to your army in blocking those shooters, especially when you're facing some rough terrain. And fliers are not as common as you make it seem.
