I'm cross posting from heroes community since it's not as busy there as here and I haven't got any response:
So I came across this game Sea Dogs when I was browsing some online game stores.
I remember back just before it was released it was a game I had my eye on but then I forgot about it.
Seeing it, I remembered I had been interested, and looking up reviews it looks pretty good.
But none of the online stores have the game in stock and on Amazon it's pretty pricey...$30 USD more than Planescape...
So anyone played it? Is it a bug fest?
Anyone play Sea Dogs?

I enjoyed Sea Dogs a lot, it is a worthy successor to Sid Meier's Pirates. Gameplay-wise, it is very similar.
The naval part of Sea Dogs was really cool, with impressive battles at sea between many ships, but the part at land was a bit awkward. But its biggest flaw was its difficulty, I think... The game soon became very tough, and winning a battle was quite a challenge.

I played it, and liked it, but it felt... old and lacked the magic of the original, IMO.PhoenixReborn wrote:Good info. Just curious if you've played the modern remake of Pirates, what do you think of it?Marzhin wrote:I enjoyed Sea Dogs a lot, it is a worthy successor to Sid Meier's Pirates.
