If Gelu has Fly or Dimension Door from a previous scenario, he can have a great advantage by charging early with Sharpshooters and retreating if necessary for reinforcements.

It's interesting that in the early game, it's better to have maybe 4 to 5 stacks of Sharpshooters rather than fielding as varied an army as possible, as most Sylvan walkers and flyers can't reach the enemy in the first turn. This means if you have more stacks of sharpshooters, they can kill an enemy army before the hero gets to act (usually to cast Death Ripple) or flee. In this way, you can preserve your army.

The Red garrison can't be bypassed to attack the castle, so the most tedious part of this map was to assemble a big enough army to finish the scenario.

Haha, I got Gelu with lvl 27, and Gem on 26. Clearly these 'good' heroes have a harder time leveling up, as they can't sacrifice creatures at altars. But I think these two are stronger than Yog and Crag Hack just because their spells deal more damage, and Gelu can use even only Sharpshooters on his attacks, and that he has very high chance of getting Ressurection to nullify SS losses.
