The Valhalla Demon
We couldn't help but notice that Valhalla Chronicles and Heroes V will share a common creature. The little guy above does't seem very happy about the situation.

I don't see anything bad about it. If you would look on it in that way Wights in Hereos V would be perceived as copies of Ringwrights from LOTR...

"Do you like fire? I'm full of it..." - Deathwing

Hmm... Yeah, they have some things in common, these two creatures, but I still don't think they have so much in common.

I happen to like his scraggle-teeth...

maybe they have things incommon. Do you think that they made up the Devils,Angels,Titans and Dragons like that... NO!!!!!!!!! It is the point of the game damit. Like griffins you can find allmost the same looking creatures in other games but in other names like Flying Eagle and that stuff..

I was not accusing Ubisoft of copying anything -- I'm well aware that 90% of fantasy games out there are in debt towards Tolkien and friends. It's just that I saw that image on a role-playing game site and immediatly thought the little guy looked familiar. But you have to admit that this type of creature isn't as common as an angel or a devil.

A copy of a copy of a copy.........clones *sigh* =P
The Valhalla Demon
what's interesting is the text on the image. the arrow poining to its head says "head: page 11-12" and down to the right it says "mäncha" which doesn't mean anything. but could be a phonetical way to spell "människa", which means human.
the art is frightingly ugly though. must be incomplete or something.

Considering the rewievs the game seems to have gotten, I wouldn't be to sure of that... Too bad, Paradox has made some really good games earlier.Arzang wrote: the art is frightingly ugly though. must be incomplete or something.
