Sadly, I have not gotten around to buying Heroes V as my computer is too old. Can anyone pls give me the name of some computers or optical drives that run at 32x?

Practically any today computer is capable. Unfortunatelly my computer also didn't make up specifications, lacking good 3d graphics. (But is perfect for older games :hoo: )

Good names, well, LG for DVD/CD ..and why you need only 32x?

Here is a good advice: don't buy that game.

32x? You mean CD-ROM? Anyway, I think the optical drive is the last of your worries when it comes to system resources needed to be able to play H5. But aside from H5, what else do you need the computer for (would be useful to know before we start giving advises)?

Guys, let's stick to answering the question shall we...

H5's requirements are listed here. If you buy a new computer today, you'll have no problem running the game. Just make sure you get a good video card. If you just want to buy a new optical drive, Samsung have some decent ones at low prices - like the SH-S182D (or others in the S180 family).
