This was a no-brainer. What I wonder is why didn't the Marksman and Grand Elves instantly bow down at Gelu's feet, offer up all their gold and beg him for training!

At which point the Lizard Warriors would have done well to instantly surrender and pray to the goddes of Benevelonce that their Hero master had enough gold on hand to ransom their pathetic lives.

Gelu is a very charismatic leader; besides if Grand Elves & Marksmen gain the rank of Sharpshooter they can shoot without any of those annoying obstacle or range penalties, and as a bonus, get more hit points & damage thrown in the mix.

Gelu is just plain cool. I don't believe for one minute the slanderous gossip that 3do spread around about him before they went out of business!

obvious, yet decesivly proving the superiority of the sharpshooters. the Wog upgrade of arctic sharpshooters will have won this battle more easily, because they have air shield.

Gelu should have been able to train the lizards as well. After all, they have a bow, and are underestimated- they require respect!

The only problem with sharpshooters, is that they are extremely easy to kill....Other than that, Titans are probably the only range unti better..

If the lizards require respect,especially from a powerful hero than why didnt they just kidnap Gelu and force him to cook delicious cabbage for them and after the odor had brought Gelu to a coma the lizards would have spread the cabbage among the other archers until only they and some orcs are left conscious.Later the insane reptiles skin the orcs and wear the skins before the archers wake up.Then they can tell the archers that this is actually the planet of the apes and that they have been sleeping for over 6000 years.Than Gelu would instantly bow to THEM............(You know im jus' kiddin right?)
