Let me know how it turns out Titan. Hopefully it's much better than Tiberium Sun.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

The file is 1,2 Gb in size, so that's probably not a viable option for those who don't have broadband. And even with broadband, downloading from the site is really slow as well, so I recommend downloading via torrents, por ejemplo:

:D but size doesnt really matter. once i downloaded a huge star wars rts demo, and 'twas short & crappy.

btw, someone who has played it, speak how its like. im not going to dowload something as large as THAT.

Not unless it gets a way better and user-friendly interface.

Man, i didn't realize how much i missed all those old C&C features and it's system. BTW, now infantry comes in squads... too bad they just have overall health and aren't more like in DoW (without the adding members part).

The game feels pretty great, but it might just be nostalgia on my part.

Cool. I may end up getting it for the 360 then regardless of how wrong it seems.

All who enjoying demo - check this out:
You can easily play as Nod, without modding the game in any way. However Scrin are still not playable. This was something posted on the Gamespot forums so I don't take credit for it.
Goto Skirmish:
Click the race selection tab, but do not select any. Move your mouse over the Nod selection and at the same time press N and click the mouse. It may take a few tries but it does work! Can also make the enemy GDI.(G + Mouse Click)

You can also use this trick to select the AI traits. Just use the first letter and click the mouse while it is highlighted.

I was thinking of looking at Skirmish mode, but sharing the Pc with my bro and school got in the way... but i guess all's well that ends well.

i dont see any evolution... dune 2 had also got squads that changed into 1 unit when seriously damaged (and dune 2 was from gameplay a prequel of c&c1 and also made by westwood, iirc).

---

EDIT: just found out, c&c3 is NOT made by westwood! i really wouldnt have expected that.

Ok, I think I have to take my words back here. I played both games already, and I find C&C a lot better than SC. Actualy I didnt liked SC at all, though I had high hopes about it.

SupCom is great, but the interface sucks and that makes controlling your units a damn chore... and the lack of proper hardware to run it doesn't help either.

Of course it plays very different then C&C3 so it's about personal tastes too.

And i just finished it... (damn, do i hate undeclared objectives...)

So Kane finally won one, but what's the deal with the final Scrin mission contradicting the GDI ending?

What spoiler? It should be pretty obvious what Nod's up to after you finish the GDI part.

I don't have the game yet. Have to wait for the 360 version.

Hmmm... it appears that my laptop passes the requirements for the game, only failing on not having Vista...which is odd that would be a factor.

I'm playing on XP just fine (except the audio sync for most of the movies). The game runs pretty great on even low end machines.
Anyone else finish it? Coz i'm missing some intel for GDI.
