Problem with Allied RMG

Unread postby Starbatron » 13 Feb 2007, 21:16

I am having a difficulty altering RMG to make them allied. Once I make the appropriate changes for teams in the properties options and try to save the map with its new settings, it gives me the message "As you've changed this map, RMG marker will be lost and multiplayer regeneration won't work." Is there a way around this problem? The problem only occurs with RMG maps and not with player made or Ubival made maps.

Just ignore this message. It tells you the map can't be re-generated by the RMG. It will become a normal map, thus all players need to have a copy of the map on their computer, but the map should be perfectly playable.

I loaded the map with both humans as an allied team, but when the second player's turn comes up, his ally isn't visible, which would imply that the allied function isn't working properly. Is any one else having this problem with the RMG? Is there a fix for it?

try moving the ally.. I've noticed that if the 2nd player doesn't move, it doesn't pick up their map visibility for the ally.

Thanks. That does seem strange, but it works fine. Must be a bug...one of many with this game. Thanks again.
