C3M3 The Meeting confusion

I don't understand what I need to do here. It says I need to find the portal to Realag's secret asylum and the daughter of malassa must survive. When I attempt to set out and accomplish these things I get attacked and it says the mission failed even if I win the battle. What am I doing wrong here?

Most likely the dragon in your army died. If the dragon dies it is game over. I too wish it had been more clear.

It's in the mission objectives I think.

Also, you can't transfer the dragon to any hero other than Raelag.

Welcome to the forums, soulshard49! ;)

Um, well...there's a really easy way to prevent that dragon from dying.

When you start a battle, you can take out units from the battlefield during the Tactic Mode (if somebody could explain exactly how this works, because I don't know how to explain it :) ).

Use that method to take out the Black Dragon. Rinse, lather, and repeat and you'll be done in no time! ;)

TIP: Expand quickly...very quickly!

Howdy, folks... I, too, have a question about C3M3, "The Meeting". There's a mini-quest to gather all 8 of the Dragon Armor artifacts, but I've cleaned out the entire board and can find no trace of the 8th and final artifact, the Dragon-Scale Shield. Anyone have any idea where it is? I've collected all of the unit-fighting-unit-guarded artifacts... 7 in all, for the first 7... but where is the 8th? Also, what do you get for gathering them all?

IIRC, they were all somewhere in the middle of the map. I think you get to skip a few fights at the end of the map if you collect them all.

also thats a good idea for saving a few blood furies in short neutral fights with say hunters or marksmen as they seem to ALWAYS go after your blood furies and will usually kill at least 6-7 and if youre not fast enough the whole stack.... i guess you could always just wait until you get a proper army to fight them but well. there it is anyway
