Wanna Trade Games?

Unread postby Angelspit » 29 Dec 2006, 16:33

I love trying old classics, and love receiving stuff in the mail. So let's try a little game: post a list of the games you'd be willing to trade (for other games of similar value) and see if other members are interested in a trade. I'll go first:

Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (CD-ROM), Bioware
Beyond Good & Evil (CD-ROM), Ubisoft
Black and White (CD-ROM), EA
Chessmaster 9000 (CD-ROM), Ubisoft
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (CD-ROM), EA
Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield (CD-ROM), Ubisoft
Starcraft (with Brood Wars expansion and Insurrection mission disk), Blizzard
Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (CD-ROM), Lucasarts

I'll do some cleaning in my collection and might add a title or two later.

The rules: originals only, all traders are responsible for their own shipping costs and custom fees (if applicable), ask if there's a manual and a box or not before the trade, specify if the game is on CD or DVD, Celestial Heavens is not responsible for any fraudulent trader, and so on.

What do you think it would cost to send a game to Canada?

$5-$7 for a CD case only, maybe a little more for larger case or a full box. You can decrease the price by using surface mail instead of plane, but not by much. You can get quotes from your postal service web site by the way.

Well I would love to help you out Angelspit but most of my games (along with a lot of other things) was lost about a year and a half ago to a fire. Never was really able to get everything back up to snuff :(. A lot of my best MtG cards (that I hadn't sold), comics (even had the comic that supes first made an appearence in), and personal items (trust me these were more prescious then the other two combined to me) went poof. But nobody was hurt and that is all that matters to me.
Warning, may cause confusion, blindness, raising of eybrows, and insanity. Image

I kept everything at home, and in that fire I lost (not counting irreplacable things) roughly $100,000 worth of things. *shrugs* they are just matierial possessions. The good thing was that nobody was hurt.

that's the right attitude to have Myst, but what a b@stard of a thing to happen!

well, not sure if I'd be up for it, but if there is an interesting trade I do have:

BG II: Shadows of Amn
BG II: Throne of Bhaal Expansion
Icewind Dale
Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter Expansion
Icewind Dale II

I'd have to have a look for other titles ....

Yup, I have one but that's mine. Most of my Heroes/Might and Magic games are various complete editions.

Unfortunately I don't have any spare games to trade - I usually purchase games I will never sell. However, by accident some time ago I received two Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion copies but one of them is on it's way to reach Angelspit.

10 years into the future will full DRM this would have been useful, but I'll try anyway.

Galactic Civilizations II Coll Ed
DOOM Coll Ed
Worms Armageddon
WarCraft III and The Frozen Throne
Heroes III Complete

Interested in the original Etherlords.

I don't think many people will be interested in this topic.

Presently, I can trade only Warlords 4: Heroes of Etheria.
Does someone have two copies of Heroes 1?
Because I don't have only HoMM 1, I even have King's Bounty! But not Heroes 1!
