*** Spoiler *** The Dark Messiah bosses are big, quite big. I must say that the 2Dish critters of Might and Magic IX looked less impressive. Thanks DrunkIrishman.

I remember fighting him

Just ended up staying in a corner (where he couln't reach me for some reason) and letting him poison me, then hitting him with my bow like 20 million times

When I fought it as my warrior, I ran full-fledged at him and ended up underneath him. So I aimed up and started whacking away and then after 10 seconds or so, I ran back to safety. I then killed him with arrows and didn't really take any damage at all. But, overall, a really cool monster.

i have a question: how many different weapons are there in the game? and when you choose a weapon, like that ice bow i see there, does it apear on the screen the same as in the icon (your bow would be blue, with a different texture and all?)

There are a lot of them: swords, axes, bows, spears, daggers... There are small differences between the weapons of each type, especially in the case of a magic weapon: there's a glow surrounding it, with the color of the appropriate effect (blue for freezing, red for fire). The glow effect looks cool, if a bit distracting at times. I found myself switching weapons very often to try them all.

For sure. Each weapon, item, or armor has its own icon and unique look. Don't worry about that part.
